Team M-Power
Team M-Power was started by Marc Mandeville in 2009. Marc was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer on January 18, 2008.
On October 9, 2010, Marc lost his battle with cancer at the age of 36, leaving behind his loving wife Megan and their three children: Christian, Lia and Olivia. Before he passed, Marc was an inspiration to all and proved to be an incredible fundraiser, totaling $255,000 for the Livestrong foundation. Today, Marc’s younger brother Peter continues what Marc began with Team M-Power. The Marc Mandeville Foundation was officially formed in May of 2011 with the following mission: We are saying "NO" to cancer. We strive to be part of something bigger than ourselves. We will, within the best of our abilities, continue our founder’s fight. We will support the our founder’s wishes to help ensure that anyone, and everyone has the knowledge, support, resources and ability to live life on their own terms and to be able to say "NO" to cancer. We welcome all who have lost someone to cancer, who know someone with cancer, who love someone with cancer, who care for someone with cancer and those who have not experienced cancer. We strive to do all we can, BECAUSE WE CAN, to see the day that cancer is a disease of history. We are human and survival is our most basic instinct. We will overcome through faith, attitude, family, courage and strength.
